This study uses a combination of exercise and Metformin to potentially prevent diseases like type 2 diabetes, stroke and heart disease from happening among people who are at-risk for these diseases.
Participants may experience improvements in overall well-being and see a decrease in elevated blood sugar and blood pressure.
This study has been reviewed and approved by the Rutgers Institutional Review Board.

Who can join?
✅ Men and women aged 40-80
✅ Must have 2 of the following:
High blood sugar
High blood pressure
High triglycerides (blood fat)
Low HDL (good cholesterol)
High waist circumference
On medication for blood pressure
On medication for blood fats
