About our Speaker:Hard wired to be a business owner, Sharon’s first entrepreneurial effort was in the 9th grade, undercutting her high school student store, selling cookies during second period. Sharon moved thru community and state colleges to secure her BS & MS in Speech & Hearing Sciences to work as a speech-language pathologist helping others with communication challenges. Within that career she built a multimillion dollar company over 17 years that was awarded state and regional recognition over multiple years for being an excellent place to work. Sharon served 7 years on her local school board advocating for children and was recognized as a Woman of Influence in 2017 by the Portland Business Journal for her business and service accomplishments. In 2018 her company was voted as one of the Best 100 Companies in Oregon to work for. She sold her company in 2022 and now seeks opportunities to encourage other aspiring business owners.
