The Dublin pub will be hosting a fundraiser to support our hometown hero Jim "Pee Wee" Martin. Jim was an original member of the 101st Airborne "Screaming Eagles" - a group that risked their lives on D Day and other campaigns liberating the world from Nazi Germany. The money will be used to purchase a life size bronze statue that will be placed at a new Veterans Memorial located in Sugarcreek township. Jim "Pee Wee" Martin statue site: https://www.jimpeeweemartin.com/ Karen Waldrup, international singer and song writer from Nashville TN will be performing during this event 8-11:30pm. She will also sing her song "Normandy" which she co-wrote with Pee Wee in 2022. She performed the song at Pee Wee's 101st birthday, and encored it at his memorial after he passed away on September 11, 2022. Karen has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, People Magazine, Netflix, The Hallmark Channel, Bravo TV, Facebook Artist of the Day, NASCAR ESPN Live, the NFL Experience Superbowl XLVII, CMT, Fox and hundreds of other outlets world-wide. This event is general admission and seats are not guaranteed. It will be a standing room only show and tickets are limited. Additionally there will be fundraising, 50/50, and silent auction items. Included with you admission you will get an official Jim "Pee Wee" Martin Toccoa Original koozie, and one ticket to enter for a grand prize Jameson's Midleton Very Rare Barry Crocket Irish Whiskey valued at $350, with Pee Wee's signature on the wooden case. There will be 12 bottles of Jameson sold as well with Pee Wee's signature on them. There will also be a tandem jump donated by Skydive Greene County, WW2 apparel, artifacts and books as well as much more.... The doors open at 7pm.
