AAA technicians will be on hand to test, replace and recycle car batteries. For every battery that is replaced or dropped off for recycling, AAA Washington will donate a tree planted by the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust. Throughout the month of Oct., for every battery collected and recycled at any AAA Washington location, the club will donate $5 to the Trust. AAA Washington also invites electric car drivers to drop by to check out their EV’s battery health with Washington-based Recurrent on hand. The auto club will also demonstrate a new mobile EV charging unit, the first of its kind in the region. The event is free and open to the public.
