Are you a newlywed, off to move away from home or want to learn things to make your life easier, safer and less expensive? There will be classes to teach basics of cooking, sewing/mending, basic house cleaning methods to include laundry and non-toxic cleaners, proper ways to set a formal dinner table, how to identify and remedy and cope with basic home emergencies such as power outages, and other non-planned irritations such as water heater failure.
We will show you how to decorate your home using the best colors, fabrics, furniture and decorations to achieve the style which makes you comfortable in your home environment.
On the practical side, we will discuss how to keep your residence cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We will also list basic items to keep in your pantry so that you will always have something to eat whether or not you are able to go to the grocery store.
