Hearts of Hope October Event: Painting for Veterans on October 13th

We are already making plans for our October Paint with a Purpose event where we will be painting for Veterans. Please join us on Thursday, October 13th from between the hours of 6-8 pm st Sterling House in Stratford and paint a heart or two to show our Veterans and those currently serving in our armed forces how much we appreciate their service and sacrifice. Some of these hearts will be distributed to Veterans at the VA Hospital in West Haven. Others will be placed on our Wall of Hope, which is locate in the town hall, for Veterans and families of those currently serving to come and take a heart for themselves or their loved one. We are located on the third floor of Sterling House, and an elevator is available to bring you upstairs to the event. Feel free to bring snacks to eat while you are painting with your family and friends. Sterling House is located at 2283 Main Street in Stratford, and there is plenty of parking. Make it a date night, a girls' night out, a family night out...Remember, we are a kid friendly event. We humbly request a $7 donation or whatever you can afford for each heart painted to offset the cost of the paint, heart, and packaging supplies.
