Modern Apprenticeship (MAP) is a three-year program designed to help employers identify, evaluate, and secure capable high school candidates who can go from entry-level jobs to highly skilled positions. Cohorts 1 and 2 are underway, with 70 youth apprentices placed at 40 employers across Marion County, in industries such as healthcare, financial services, and IT. Now, Ascend Indiana and EmployIndy are looking for additional companies to hire youth apprentices starting in 2023. Learn how you can cultivate a long-term pipeline of diverse talent at your organization starting with MAP. Join us for a panel of current employer partners - including OneAmerica, Roche, Ascension St. Vincent, and the Indianapolis Airport Authority - as well as to hear directly from a current apprentice. Breakfast will be provided. Seating is limited, so please keep your company's attendance at two individuals.
