Hello fall! I've never been so glad to see you. In this 1.5 -2 hour class we will cover the basics of sugar cookie decorating and I will provide everything you need. Just bring your spooky self! More details on refunds, credits and FAQs are below. Can't wait to celebrate my favorite season with y'all! About the classThis class is for the beginner cookier. If you've tried working with royal icing before and can't seem to master it, I'll give you helpful tips throughout class and send you home with your creations. We will be decorating 3 desings: candy corn, ghost and trick-or-treat bag. I will provide the cookies, icing, sprinkles and a box to take your cookies home with you. This class is on Saturday, October 22nd, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Come by yourself, bring a friend or family member and if this is your first time, let go of your perfectionism at the door. We're here to learn a little and mostly have fun. Class is best suited for those ages 10+. We are hosting class at my wonderful aunt's home in Frisco, near 380 and 423. FAQHow many cookies are we doing?You will do 6 cookies total, 2 of each design. What kinds of things will we learn? I will guide you through the basics of royal icing, why we use different consistencies and tips for coloring icing at home. We'll go through a few techniques that could include outlining, flooding, wet on wet, hand painting, adding texture and layering. What do I need to bring?Absofruitly nothing. I provide all materials! But come ready with your smart phone to take ALL the pictures so you can show off your work on social media. What ages can attend the class?I recommend ages 10+, but if children are under 18 a parent will need to take the class as well. You cannot drop a child under 18 off for the class. I bought my ticket, but now I can't make it.Well that's bummer! If you cancel more than 1 week prior I will issue your refund, minus the Event Brite fee that isn't refundable. If it's less than 1 week notice I will give you a class credit you can apply to a future class. I put a lot of time into preparing these classes so I want to honor my effort while still giving you the opportunity to come later! If you do not give any cancellation notice before the start of class, I won't be able to offer you a refund or credit. Allergens: eggs, gluten and nuts could be present in my home kitchen. I cannot accommodate specific allergies as I am a home baker.
