The CDL Truck Driving School invites you to come and celebrate six (6) successful years of training veterans in Copperas Cove. Please join us for a barbecue celebration. TransForce and the Fort Hood Garrison, will be celebrating its sixth anniversary of the partnership between the City of Copperas Cove, Texas Work Commission, and Troops into Transportation. Through this partnership, over 4,200+ veterans, active service members, and military spouses have been trained and hired as trucking industry professionals. “We are so proud to celebrate the nearly 4,300 graduates today” said Charles Hodges, Jr., President of Education and Training at The CDL School, a TransForce company. “As the largest Skills Bridge Program in the Department of Defense, it has been an honor to assist this distinguished group of service members as they transition to a new career field after serving our country. As the industry continues to be challenged by the driver shortage, the partnership with Fort Hood gets us one step closer to combatting the shortage concerns while supporting our mission to help more veterans and their families.” The Troops into Transportation & Fort Hood Partnership Celebration will be held on October 7, 2022.
