Frida invites you to a Fiesta FUNdraiser benefiting Elephant Nature Park Dogs. Frida is a paralyzed dog rescued from the streets of Chang Mai, Thailand. Elephant Nature Park was critical to her care and rescue. Frida got her start to a new life here, this is her homeland! She is the inspiration for our non-profit The Frida Project, which aims to serve projects that support the hard to adopt . We're raising much needed funds to build a dedicated dog kitchen and four dog runs providing shelter for the growing population of dogs just like her. This sanctuary is home to not only elephants but also dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, cows, monkeys and more. There are 700 dogs and 50 paralyzed dogs , who have been rescued from the dog meat trade, breeders, stray and need our help. Join us on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Annenberg Pet Space in Playa Vista. Enjoy food, drinks, music and a screening of Frida's Wizard of Paws episode. Meet and greet with Derrick Campana, "the Wizard" himself and see the 1st ever dog runway to showcase Derrick's work with orthotics! *Please note this event will be filmed. Rain or Shine. Outdoor event, however, indoor facilities provided in case of rain.
