Description
"So, what do you do?"Do you dread this question? If so, it's probably because you haven't settled on a basic elevator pitch that achieves its main purpose: give just enough information to the person asking so they can decide whether they'd like to talk with you further. Join the RTP Chapter in person for an interactive workshop led by Helen Moses to learn how to craft and deliver an elevator pitch in a clear and engaging way and enjoy a night of networking amongst the UPWARD RTP community. The most effective elevator pitch is not a fancy commercial or a performance that needs to be perfect. It also doesn't need to include all that you do. Instead, the best pitches are simple, interesting descriptions of who you are and what you do that are easy to understand and remember. Simple pitches save everyone time and effort. Participants in this workshop will learn how to craft and deliver a 30-second (or less) elevator pitch that they can say clearly and in an engaging way. There will be some guided pre-work before attending and an opportunity in the workshop to practice delivering your pitch in a fun and fast-paced way. Leave the workshop confident in introducing yourself in a way that works, and hopefully, some new leads for excellent connections! At this workshop expect to: ● Learn how to craft your elevator pitch ● Practice with other members speed-networking style ● Network with Upward members Event Location: Raleigh Founded Gateway Plaza 2409 Crabtree Blvd Suite #107 Raleigh, NC 27604 *Snacks and drinks will be served.
