We are pleased to announce Soul Food Farm will be hosting Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-05) here on the farm to discuss the future of our region's farming businesses and agricultural community. In 2021, during the last congressional redistricting cycle, Thompson’s district expanded to include Vacaville, Dixon, and Rio Vista. This summer, Thompson began visiting dozens of farms in Solano County as an opportunity to introduce himself and to better understand the needs of our community. As a farmer, he is a devoted advocate for agriculture and small farmers. We are thrilled to welcome Rep. Thompson to the farm for a chance for a more intimate conversation about the future of farming here in Solano County.
