To apply, please visit - Centennial Water and Sanitation District is currently accepting applications for a Collection and Distribution System Mechanic. This position requires working in the field performing routine maintenance and repairs on the water and wastewater systems throughout the Highlands Ranch community. Routine maintenance to include: valve exercising, valve repair and replacements, fire hydrant testing, maintenance and replacements, water main and service repairs, manhole inspections, sanitary sewer video inspections, and pipeline jetting. This is a full-time position working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday. Requires being “on call” for emergency response and requires a 30-minute response time. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent; a valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Applicants with underground pipeline construction and repair experience, and /or the ability to efficiently and safely operate heavy equipment is a plus. Applicants with Colorado Collection and/or Distribution Certification are preferred. Pre-employment screening, which includes background check, drug screen and motor vehicle record check will be performed for all candidates who are offered employment.
