Devin Brown AKA “Afrodiskayak” is training to be the first Black woman to paddle the Mississippi River from source to sea in 2024. The Get Down Coffee Co. is proud to support Devin as she raises funds to purchase her first competition kayak from Stellar Kayaks & Surf Skis, and train other women of color in water safety and paddling. Afrodiskayak is a custom blend of coffee with berry and cocoa notes, created in partnership with Devin. 100% of profits from this blend will be donated to her project and support her goal of seeing more women of color on the water.
