Description

About This Event This month's speakers: Christopher Udall, Managing Director of the Hudson Alpha AgTech Accelerator in Huntsville; Ashleigh Brown, Founder and CEO of CLAIRE; and Michael Valerino, Founder of Solar Unsoiled. Today's Alabama startups are the future for our State. We want to know more about the importance of accelerators - providing the entrepreneurial community with an ecosystem of support - and why they matter. We'll hear from three expert panelists, bringing perspectives from Prosper's Health Tech Accelerator, HudsonAlpha's AgTech Accelerator and Techstars' EnergyTech Accelerator. Christopher Udall brings nine years of experience in international program management, stakeholder engagement and startup growth strategy to gener8tor. Utilizing that experience as well as an agricultural background, he will serve as the connector between the AgTech startup ecosystem and the broader gener8tor network and programming. Ashleigh Brown is a writer, creative strategist, and HealthTech founder with concentrations in sexual & reproductive health and women-focused consumer branding. In 2020, she founded CLAIRE (CLAIRE Fertility), a digital health startup reimagining the fertility journey for women and their doctors. Based in Nashville, CLAIRE is participating in the current cohort of the Prosper Health Tech Accelerator. Michael Valerino is an engineer and EnergyTech founder with a focus on the solar energy industry. His research into the impact of air pollution and dust to solar energy production was the foundation for the formation of Solar Unsoiled in 2022, which has come to Birmingham to join the 2022 cohort of the Techstars EnergyTech Accelerator. Join us at this month's Coffee & Collisions to discuss the thriving accelerators Alabama offers and the impact they make - bring plenty of questions for this one! Please be sure to RSVP as attendance is limited.
