His responsibilities include all forms of security engineering design work, security system audits, life-safety analysis, preparation of security specifications and drawings, bid packages, specialized system integration, and security construction management. Over the last five years, he has been responsible for million dollar+ security projects with Reading (PA) Medical Center (now Tower Health), Berks County Pennsylvania facilities and offices, Fedway Associates (NJ, Warehousing), Traditions Senior Living Dallas Texas. He has worked on many other projects in the $500k-$1MM range nationwide. Representative clients include: Drexel University Medical School, Nestle Health Sciences, Westgate Management Company (apartments), West Chester University of Pennsylvania, Woodbridge (Connecticut) School District. He has worked with hospitals, universities, school districts, large warehouses, high-rise retirement facilities, and apartment complexes. His area of expertise include large, integrated security systems, fiber optic and wireless networking, networking, and security protocols and procedures. Previously, Burket worked for The Protection Bureau for twenty-three years variously as a senior security consultant, systems engineer, and government sales specialist. Before The Protection Bureau, Burket worked for The United Methodist Church in various positions including work as a construction coordinator in the Caribbean and the Americas. Additionally, Mark directs all central station operations. Mark is Licensed by the State of New York for the Installation, Service, and Inspection of Fire and Burglar Alarms. He is Nicet Level ll certified in Fire Alarm Systems. Mark also holds FDNY Certificate of Fitness(COF) for Central Station, FDNY S97/S98 COF for Fire Alarm Systems Inspection, Testing and Service, and FDNY B04 Auxiliary Radio Systems. He is a member of the NPFA72 SIG-PRO Technical Committee and the UL827 Standards Technical Panel whereby he contributes to the development and ongoing standards for our industry. After attending Pfeiffer College, Mark quickly ascended in his career from service dispatcher to lead technician, then joining the AFA management team to supervise AFA’s corporate central station operations. While in this position, he consolidated the company’s satellite receiving stations achieving measurable cost reductions and quality control improvements. Mark was subsequently promoted to IT manager, having responsibility over all Information Technology (IT) functions including the Central Station systems infrastructure and operations for the company. Through his career progression to CIO, Mark designed and directed the development of several software applications including the company’s estimating software, service technician application, and mobile monitoring application. Mark is currently responsible to integrate all CTSI acquired companies, 11 to date, on the same IT, ERP, Communications, CRM, Service Management, Estimating, and Office Applications, and Communications Platforms. Matthew F. Ezold, CTS-D Vice President, Digital Planning Bala Consulting Engineers [email protected] Matt is a digital ecosystem planner with 20 years of experience in technology design for workplace, amenity, large event, and education spaces. He leads Bala's digital planning efforts and takes a full technology lifecycle approach to user experience planning from early space programming through long range technology resilience strategy development. Matt's expertise includes user facing systems design and strategy for building networks, audiovisual, unified communications, building systems integration, digital experience, digital messaging/communications, space scheduling, cabling infrastructure, physical security, and broadcasting systems.
