On behalf of the entire Penn MSA and MSA National, we would like to formally invite you to the MSA East Conference. This event is the pinnacle of the year, and you will have the opportunity to reap the benefits of being part of one of the first conferences in recent years. At Penn MSA, our vision as an organization is for Muslim-American college students to collectively contribute to society with a firm understanding of the Deen that drives them. We build leaders out of college students who dedicate their efforts to facilitating a true Muslim identity for those in their community. In order to help pave the way and make it easier for all college students individually, we leverage the combined knowledge and experience of the most impactful “trailblazers”. MSA East is an one-day conference in which college students from across the country come together for vision shaping, skill building, problem-solving, and self-improvement that one will internalize and take back to their local communities. Along the way, you will meet some incredible like-minded leaders across the east coast who will easily become lifelong friends, colleagues, and your fellow “torch holders”. How do you instill our faith as a way of life and join a collective struggle to establish Deen among our society? How can we harness experiences from trailblazers to serve our communities while taking care of ourselves? How do we maintain a balance between the courage we inwardly and outwardly demonstrate? How do we navigate our vulnerabilities as a part of being active in our communities? What are ways to value and support those who have taken a stand when it's needed? How can we maintain our beliefs when making hard decisions? We encourage you to creatively explore these concepts during MSA East 2022. This year, the conference will be happening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, InshaAllah, and it is set to be the largest MSA Conference.
