If you dream of becoming a self-employed artist or Youtuber, bubbling with creative expression, and interested in learning about Latin culture or spreading awareness for animal rights, then this is that opportunity for YOU! Velvet Kat is gathering a team to plan and create projects that inspire positive change in the world. Your leadership in this team will prepare you for when you're ready to take on that role for your own future ventures. This is a unique unpaid remote internship opportunity for 3 individuals who are interested in learning any/all aspects of leading a sales and digital content team. As an Assistant Intern, you will work in multiple areas of the planning process; assisting in management, communication, and any tasks required to delegate. You must be able to commit to a 15+ hour weekly schedule for up to 12 weeks. Although the internship is unpaid, you’ll have opportunities to get paid commissions for being involved in videos & sales. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, but you will be expected to study & practice the tools, skills, and methods needed to get work done. Some, you’ll learn directly from Velvet Kat. Some, you’ll be directed to where you can learn. Prior knowledge & experience in any of these does make you stand out: Instagram, Facebook marketing, Youtube Creator Studio, Adobe Premiere & Audition, Canva, Later, Google Suite, Asana, Wix, graphic design, email marketing, and/or storytelling. AS A MEMBER OF THE VELVET KAT TEAM, here’s what you’ll do: - Direct teams through projects, assign tasks, track goals, followup according to timelines, and advice according to vision - Communicate between teams and hold interns accountable - Research where needed, document, and report to Velvet Kat TO THRIVE, you must be ready to challenge yourself to seek answers and learn through trial and error, be proactive in asking and providing input within the team to complete projects correctly, work above and beyond given tasks, be attentive to details, organized and punctual, and have high standards for writing. Include Who you are, What your current life is like, and Why you’re interested in any of these: Fashion, Tarot, Art, Latin Culture, Veganism, Becoming a Youtuber, Starting your own business. Write a short report(up to 1 page) answering ONE of these questions with credible cited sources in the 2nd page: - Who is a successful entrepreneur(excluding Billionaires) you’d love to work with and why? What do they do for business? What makes them interesting/unique that people should care about? - Who is an underground fashion designer or artist you admire and why? What’s their story? Why is their art captivating? - Great entrepreneurs, Youtubers, or influencers(pick one) should ___. Who are 2 examples that do?
