Habitat Restoration Field Technicians – North County REQ 22-19 RECON Environmental is a small company of specialists representing one of the most established environmental consulting service firms in the Southwest. We are employee-owned and hard-working, but with a casual and collaborative work environment. We are looking to hire Habitat Restoration Field Technicians to join our growing team in the Oceanside area. • Planting, hand weeding, trash clearing, raking, salvaging of plant material, trenching and erosion control, hauling rocks, and any other miscellaneous construction work. • Must be able to stoop, stand and bend for extended periods of time and work on uneven and/or difficult terrain in environments of fluctuating temperatures. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to use required equipment such as line trimmers, spray equipment, etc. • Knowledge of California native plants is highly desirable although not required (training will be provided if necessary to applicants willing and eager to acquire plant identification skills). Salary: $17.00 per hour. $250.00 (net) bonus upon completion of 90 days RECON Environmental Inc. is an EOE/Minority/Female/Disability/Vets.
