Looking for people willing to dance in public on camera. Any background, any skill level, and any style. You don't have to be a dancer, you just have to like dancing in whatever way that is. I'm filming a series of videos of New Yorkers letting their guard down and dancing in different public locations around the city. Imagine dancing to your favorite song in your room but now image doing it in front of the Papaya Dog on 6th ave or in Grand Central as people rush by you to catch a train. I'll only direct you as much as you liked to be directed and in terms of what looks best on camera, otherwise the dancing is up to you. This is unpaid and for anyone who is just willing to help out on a random project and could use a reason to dance in public. I will of course share the footage if you'd like a copy. Send me an email with your first name, what music/song(s) you'd be interested in dancing to, and a location that you would be comfortable meeting and filming. Filming would only take as much time as you're willing to give and would only be myself and my camera. No crew or fancy setup. I'm only looking for solo dancing on camera but feel free to bring someone for moral support.
