I have four spoiled backyard laying hens. They’re my pets. One Olive egger hen, one French black copper maran hen and two polish hens. All are under a year old and laying. Sound and healthy hens. They’re fed a high protein 21% layer pellet feed with the occasional scratch, meal worms and corn. Their favorite treat is watermelon during the summer on really hot days.
