Rapid Prep is a growing national company that services the abrasive blasting industry and is looking for a motivated Laborer with the following skills and qualifications: -Candidate must have good driving record and no criminal record. Technician will be required at times to service equipment in local government facilities. No applicant with a felony conviction will be considered due to the access requirement. -Ability to operate forklifts and shop equipment -Ability to supply own set of basic hand tools -Basic knowledge of hand tools -Capacity to wear a half mask 2 cartridge respirator -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at times is required -Must be able to read and write English -Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Responsibilities: -Painting parts and equipment -Day to day maintenance of equipment, shop and fleet vehicles -Equipment improvements which include sanding, priming, painting and repairs and upgrades -Cleaning shop -Loading and unloading deliveries -Other shop duties Candidate will be compensated based on having a certain level of knowledge of the above criteria and/ or an ability to learn these skills from operations management. Above all else candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn the business of surface preparation.
