Warehouse and Shipping Associate (Hudson, WI) Sales & marketing support services company is seeking an experienced candidate for a position in our warehouse / shipping / freezer fulfillment department. Self-motivated individual who accepts challenges, provides solutions, appreciates opportunities, multi-tasks, and works well with others. Duties include: Produces shipping labels by computerized manifest system for outbound custom individual orders and multi location production orders – as well as preparing freight shipments Order pulling and packaging in cold environment for frozen items, utilizing dry ice Order pulling and packaging for shelf stable items in temperate environment Inventory receiving and stocking in both cold and temperate storage environments Verify and record inventory quantity received Examines articles for defects and sort articles according to extent of defect Assist with recycling of paper, pallets and cardboard Operates fork truck and pallet truck – must be certified on fork truck prior to operation Collects specified number of materials and assembles for each addressee as indicated by a packing slip – whether POS, dry or frozen product Places materials in envelopes, boxes, or other containers Examines packages for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies, procedures and specifications. Record inventory movements Adjusts supplies from inventory as needed Performs physical inventory counts for verification purposes Prepares freight orders by palletizing for truck shipments Stock shelf locations, bulk picking locations, and supplies locations Manages shipper inventory levels, assembles as needed, tracking quantities and items used Repack frozen/refrigerated items via clean room process Maintain filing system for original orders and/or packing slips Maintain clean, orderly work area All other duties as assigned Full time position – 8:30am – 5:00pm with ½ hour lunch Requirements: Forklift operation – will certify General computer skills a must Excellent math skills Very detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Strong problem solving abilities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
