Local construction company seeking full time field service lube technician to ride on fuel truck. BDZ Construction is searching for a Heavy Equipment Fuel and Lube Technician. This position is responsible for daily job site fueling, lube, repair and maintain heavy equipment. Also performs minor field repairs where possible and reports condition of vehicle and equipment conditions to Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Daily fueling, greasing and preventive maintenance on all equipment in a safe and timely manner. Light/Medium troubleshooting/repair on all equipment. Ensure each piece of equipment is full of fuel, greased, that oil and grease are cleaned lightly, blow out cabs, tire pressure checked, track adjustment checked, inspected for leaks, addressed for minor blown hoses and minor repairs are completed. Every construction site is fueled and visited daily. Understands company safety program and follows appropriate protocols when working on equipment. Heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, backhoes etc.) experience a plus but willing to train motivated individuals. Skills, knowledge and abilities Mechanical abilities. Have a positive attitude every day and take pride in your work Be a team player Ability to lift and carry 50lbs or more Capable of keeping records organized Self driven Keep a clean work environment Able to climb in, on, and around equipment with flexibility for awkward reaches and positions Schedule: Full time position, start at 6:00am Monday through Friday with the possible Saturday overtime required daily SHOP IS LOCATED IN EVERETT
