Tree Crew Groundsman Position $18-$25/hr - based on experience We are in need of a few general laborers to assist in ground work related to tree trimming and removals. This position will assist with hauling and chipping brush, driving equipment, chainsaw and other pruning tool use and general site cleanup. Experience in this field of work is preferred, as can be a physically demanding job. We have multiple crews going out daily and job specifics change depending on the site, so a “can do” attitude and flexibility are extremely helpful to complete jobs on time. With expressed interest and continued aptitude, training can be provided to learn tree climbing and rigging. This job has the potential to grow into a more well-rounded and skilled position for the right person. We meet at our truck yard in Issaquah at 7:30am, coordinate vehicles and equipment for that day, and return to the yard at the end of the day, generally around 4pm with some days requiring overtime. Desired Qualifications or Skills • Hard working and physically capable of lifting heavy loads • 2 years work in a related job field • Familiar with operating chainsaws, hand tools, and chippers • Works well in a team and can coordinate well with coworkers • Experience operating a bucket truck/spider lift, mini skid steer, grapple truck • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to prioritize and evaluate job site necessities • Bilingual (English and Spanish) • Punctuality and good time management • Maintaining a safe work environment and wearing all applicable PPE • Has a Class A or B CDL to drive the chip truck • Familiar with proper ISA and industry standard pruning techniques Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour - based on experience Benefits: • Health insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday • Overtime Ability to commute/relocate: • Issaquah, WA 98027: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: • Tree care: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: • Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: • Multiple locations Work Remotely: • No Work Location: Multiple Locations
