WARNING. I went to Apple Fashion Mall to get my phone iPhone 11 Pro Max repaired. After a long process of checking out my phone, at the last minute I think they did a Bait and Switch and I walked out with what they said was a “new” phone ~ which they refused to document.. I didn’t realize what they were doing. They took my phone in which was in pristine condition that I had paid $1,200 for, and had me sign a receipt that I did not get until I got home. I had dropped it and I was told that the screen had come loose or it was the battery by another phone repair person. I decided to have it repaired at Apple. BIG MISTAKE!! I am 80 years old, and did NOT agree to buy another phone nor did I agree to give them my phone for FREE. They pulled a fast one on me, and now I have an inferior similar phone that they said was “new” and am out $600. I have done everything I could to get my phone back. They said my phone was "out of warranty” which was one explanation as to why the pulled the switch. DO NOT TAKE any out of warranty Apple device to them ~ and be on guard. No one asked me if I wanted another substitute phone or if I was willing to give them my phone for free. Both things happened. I AM MAD!! I have done every thing I could to get my phone back. but have been unsuccessful. In my option THEY STOLE MY PHONE ~ and it cost me over $600 in the process!! I think this was a “BAIT AND SWITCH and they they refused to make it right or return my phone.
