Milling Machine Operator wanted Nesbitt Contracting is hiring a Milling Machine Operator: ************Please apply at www.nesbitts.com/application*************** Responsibilities: ● Knowledge of paving process ● Monitor and control all aspects of the milling process ● Feed raw materials into the mill ● Operating equipment to break down these materials into smaller pieces ● Able to read and understand production plans and instructions to ensure they’re operating the machinery correctly ● Operating cranes, forklifts, shovels, bulldozers, backhoes, or other heavy equipment to load, unload, or move materials ● Have an eye for detail ● Work along with paving crew members to pave ● Must always practice safety procedures and wear personal protecting equipment (PPE) when required ● Must have excellent communication skills ● Must be able to work in extreme heat ● Follow instructions and work as a team member Must have transportation to and from local projects and occasionally work out of town. Availability to work occasional nights and weekends is a plus.
