Portland Golf Club's Clubhouse Attendant Typical Hours: full time, Tuesday-Saturday, day, mid, evening shift, hours are relatively flexible. Reports to: this position works independently under the support of the event coordinator and maintenance team. Qualifications: • Always maintain a positive and professional demeanor • 18+ • Basic knowledge of tools and repair • On the job training will be provided, experience is not required but will be considered • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Key Responsibilities: • Set and break down events in the clubhouse, pool and on golf course. • Set up A/V and technical equipment. • Keep event storage areas organized. • Reset the floors between events in an appealing fashion (will be provided instruction of the standard furniture layouts). • Other duties in regards to event setup will be to maintain all furniture in proper working order. For example, replacing missing screws or nuts, replacing missing feet or casters. • Other duties as assigned by F & B management team. Work closely with the maintenance department on duties such as: • Replacing HVAC filters, cleaning outside and patio areas with pressure washers, painting inside and outside for touch up, cleaning gutters of debris to allow for proper drainage for roof areas, unclogging drains in the kitchen, changing light bulbs, cleaning vents, and general maintenance type issues. • Other duties included in this position will be daily checking to make sure soap dispensers, toilette paper and paper towels are full in the bathrooms of the clubhouse. Checking any other bathrooms as deemed needed by the maintenance supervisor or other management. • The maintenance department takes all trash for the club out to the greens area to be put into dumpsters on a daily basis. • Other maintenance items that may be required are fixing holes in walls, troubleshooting problems with kitchen equipment, cleaning carpet, wood and tile floors, other plumbing issues such as leaking faucets and shower heads, etc. • Perform various job-related duties as assigned.
