Hello Jazz & Rock Drummers! Half-Day Jazz Drumming Workshop With Master Jazz Session Drummer Duncan Moore! No Prior Jazz Drumming Experience Needed! INSTRUCTOR: Duncan Moore HOST: Tarkus Drums DATE: Saturday November 12, 2022 TIME: 1pm to 5pm (4hrs) LOCATION: Fallbrook, CA CAPACITY: 8 Students ***ONLY 4 SEATS REMAINING*** Over the last 40 years, Duncan Moore has performed or recorded with well-known jazz musicians such as: Pat Metheny Tom Scott Ray Brown Kenny Burrell Joe Farrell Les McCann Ernie Watts and various pop artists such as: Kenny Loggins America Ricki Lee Jones Other Artists: Mose Allison, Karrin Allyson, Brian Bromberg, Joe Chambers, Billy Childs, Curtis Fuller, Holly Hofmann, Eric Johnson, Geoffrey Keezer, Albert Lee, Little River Band, Art Neville, John Pattitucci, Bob Sheppard, Peter Sprague, Tierney Sutton, Mason Williams, Steve Wilson, Mike Wofford. This master educator will personally instruct a hands-on, half-day jazz drumming workshop covering: JAZZ STYLES: *Swing/Bebop *Latin *Fusion SOLOING: *Trading Fours *Over Forms *Open Solos POLYRYTHMIC CONCEPTS: *How To Practice *Over The Bar Line *Maintaining Form OTHER TOPICS: *Independence *Time Keeping *Reference Material There will be voluntary kit time for all attendees with one-on-one instruction and corrective notes from Duncan.
