McCormack Contracting Inc, has an immediate opening for a motivated, hard-working, reliable laborer to complete various types of construction work at job site locations throughout Essex, Morris, and Union Counties. We provide full-time, consistent, year-round work in a healthy environment with the opportunity to grow and build your skill set. We will provide on the job training! Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour to start SCHEDULE Candidates will be expected to apply at least 8 hours of time per day towards work tasks provided. • 8-5, Monday to Friday RESPONSIBILITIES Candidate is not expected to be able to perform all of the tasks listed below but any candidate will be expected to identify which skills they are capable of performing. Candidates will receive tasks and instructions from McCormack’s project manager to assist with daily work necessary to manage various job sites as directed. These duties may consist of, but are not limited to, the following: • Demolition and removal of debris • Communicating with Project Manager regarding daily activities • Installation of site lighting • Equipment and site cleanup • Following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans • Assisting skilled tradespeople in their duties • Installing doors, cabinets, trim, sheetrock, and hardware • Framing, metal or wood REQUIREMENTS • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs alone • Work Documents (Social Security and/or Tax ID number) • Valid NJ Driver’s License • Must live locally (Morris, Union, or Essex County) If interested in this position, please: 1.
