Hello! We just moved to Montclair from Atlanta and are expecting our first child in mid/late October. We are seeking a full-time day nanny Start Date: Mid-October based upon the due date of October 19. Location: Montclair NJ. We are located very close to the Watchung Avenue NJ Transit train stop as well as on the 28 Bus line. Hours: 8:30am - 5pm (8 hrs a day plus 30 min for lunch) Monday-Friday Qualifications: Must have at least 3 years of experience caring for infants, be infant CPR certified, and pass a background check. Job Expectations: Feeding & soothing the newborn. These tasks are the common infant tasks such as changing diapers, feeding, bottles, cleaning up after spit ups, getting them to sleep. Light housekeeping when the baby is sleeping. These can include things like sweeping, dishes, laundry, wiping, putting things away, meal prep. What we are looking for: It would be great if you can speak Spanish or Mandarin, in addition to English. Although I don’t speak Spanish or Mandarin well, I am learning and want our little one to learn the language. We would ideally love to hire someone who can be with our family for many years to come. We are looking for a 1 year commitment. Must love babies! It’s best if you are naturally energetic and loving. Someone who will be creative in stimulating the baby with different activities. No car is needed. Compensation: $16-22/hr, depending on experience Ideal but not Mandatory Qualifications: Speaks Spanish and/or Chinese Able to use phone apps that help track the newborns sleep, feeding, etc. Available for part-time weekend help in addition to week day help Benefits: Employee status with payroll processing through Nanny Lane, Nanny Chex, or similar.
