Personal/Family Assistant Part or Full Time Position- Must be Flexible Busy Executive looking for help with childcare, pet care, organizing, scheduling, errands and other tasks Competitive Pay Schedule: Monday-Wednesday- more hours possible occasional evening/weekend availability (advanced notice will be given) occasional travel and overnights RESPONSIBILITIES • Engaging activities for two school aged very active boys- possible school pick up • Help getting kids prepared for sports and activities • Light housekeeping: dishes, laundry, sweeping floors, grocery shopping, organizing, daily tidying • Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior) • Possible care of pets- walking and feeding dog and cat (our dog is VERY high energy and large) • House Sitting when traveling- staying at the house and caring for pets and house a few days a month • Working on household projects including organizing, donations, de-cluttering • Scheduling meetings and appointments, making travel arrangements • Running errands- groceries, dry cleaning, returns, post office etc. • Occasional travel with kids- this would be once or twice every few months, accompanying me and the kids on a trip- caring for them while I attend meetings and work. All expenses would be paid for. REQUIREMENTS • Willing to work as an employee, with taxes taken out and on payroll • Flexible and able to accommodate spontaneous changes to plans • Able to anticipate needs, highly organized and detail oriented • Professional and committed to the success of the family • Able to work legally in the United States, with a valid driver’s license, and spotless driving record • Required background and reference checks • CPR training and familiarity with food allergies • Recent experience in a similar role strongly preferred • Nonsmoker BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Excellent communication skills • Detail oriented and able to follow directions well • Must enjoy and have prior experience working with children • Polished, friendly, professional demeanor • Highly organized individual with ability to multitask • Proactive go-getter: no task is too big or too small • Ability to maintain a strict level of discretion and confidentiality • Respond to phone and text quickly Please Apply if: You are intelligent, hard working and love children and helping people. Our household is busy and full of chaos. I am looking for someone who can come in and help bring calm- keeping the kids happy and engaged, keeping the dog calm, keeping the house clean and tidy, anticipating our needs. I have been juggling a very busy career, including frequent travel, with two active boys, a dog, a cat, and a recent divorce. I am looking for someone who can be my right hand person- helping with any and all areas of life. There is opportunity for growth for the right person- whether that is into a more corporate role or into a professional organizing, styling or cooking role. For now, I want someone who can jump in and help- I want my children and household cared for in the same way I do. I have very high expectations and don't have time to hand hold. We love to have fun and joke around and are always up for trying new things. I work from home, but generally need quiet so I can manage calls and meetings. I love open and honest communication and someone who can understand and anticipate what we need.
