Description
Purpose:
Our research team at UCLA’s Center for Women’s Pelvic Health is conducting a study to determine the fitness of pelvic floor muscles in women without bladder symptoms or neurogenic disease. The study involves Near InfraRed Spectroscopy (NIRS) that will use sensors to send light to your pelvic floor muscles as you contract and relax them. The sensors will then help measure oxygen levels to help determine pelvic floor muscle fitness.
