North Austin screen printing and embroidery shop is seeking a general warehouse worker to be trained as a belt catcher. The position is available for English or Spanish-speaking applicants. Main responsibilities: • Checking in blank t-shirts against packing slips and purchase orders • Using a work order to pull shirts for jobs to be printed • Quality control check of each shirt as it’s being printed • Counting and stacking shirts as they come off a conveyer dyer • Recording counts of printed shirts and misprinted shirts on the job work order • Boxing and preparing orders to be shipped via UPS or Fed This is a fast-paced production environment in a non-climate controlled warehouse. This position requires being on your feet for long periods of time. The right person will be detail orientated, able to follow directions, focus on the task at hand, and quick to pick up procedures. There are a lot of verifying counts which is critical to the success of this job. This is a full-time job with occasional overtime.
