POSITION IDENTIFICATION Title: Assistant Production Supervisor Business Unit: iManufacturing (iManufacture) Reports to: Production Manager Date Opened: September 2022 Target Start Date: October 2022 2nd Shift – 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm M-F COMPANY DESCRIPTION Impact Housing is a Southern California-based company that is designing and building multifamily and mixed-use attainable housing. The company is employing innovative off-site modular design to address today’s housing crisis with an integrated design, development, manufacturing, and construction process. POSITION SUMMARY The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage production shift employees and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. Supervisory Responsibilities • Trains and manages production employees on assigned shift. • Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift. • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Duties and Responsibilities • Oversees production operations on assigned shift • Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations • Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment • Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and warehouse correctly • Troubleshoots issues that arise • Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems. • Ensures employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. • Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly. • Performs other related duties assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery. • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs. Education and Experience: • Highschool diploma or equivalent required • Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred.
