BDZ Construction is hiring a Heavy Equipment Fuel and Lube Technician. This position is responsible for daily job site fueling, lube, repair and maintain heavy equipment. Also performs minor field repairs where possible and reports condition of vehicle and equipment conditions to Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Daily fueling, greasing and preventive maintenance on all equipment in a safe and timely manner. Light/Medium troubleshooting/repair on all equipment. Ensure each piece of equipment is full of fuel, greased, that oil and grease are cleaned lightly, blow out cabs, tire pressure checked, track adjustment checked, inspected for leaks, addressed for minor blown hoses and minor repairs are completed. Every construction site is fueled and visited daily. Understands company safety program and follows appropriate protocols when working on equipment. Schedule Full time position, start at 6:00am Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday Possible overtime required daily Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Vision insurance Experience Mechanical work experience: 2 year required Heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, backhoes etc.) experience a plus but willing to train motivated individuals. Fueling & Greasing: 1 year Skills, knowledge and abilities Mechanical abilities. Have a positive attitude every day and take pride in your work Be a team player Ability to lift and carry 50lbs or more Capable of keeping records organized Self driven Keep a clean work environment Pass a pre-employment drug screening Valid drivers license with clean driving record Able to climb in, on, and around equipment with flexibility for awkward reaches and positions License/Certification Driver's License with clean record (Required) Education High school or equivalent (Preferred)
