Each section of the SSG will be covered as well as the key judgment areas including future high and low PE, selected low price, earnings per share growth, and how they all work together to help identify good companies at reasonable prices. Discussion will focus on why each section is important. Data sources that can help you complete an SSG will be demonstrated. Trim or Sell - Which is Better for Your Portfolio? (Craig Braemer) You have a winning stock. Should you sell your whole position or just trim it? This is a tough decision. We will explore the logic and factors of trimming a long-term holding versus selling out of a high-quality company. If the concept of trimming is new to you, learn why this approach could help your financial wealth. Come and learn more about dealing with this difficult topic. Invest in Stocks with Growing Dividends (Craig Braemer) Dividends can be important to investors. Stocks that have consistently increased their dividends have proven to perform well over time. This is not the same as focusing on high dividend paying stocks. We will focus on valuation metrics like the payout ratio and look at how to use the Stock Selection Guide (SSG) to evaluate growing dividend stocks. A growing dividend portfolio could provide cash flow for those investors looking to generate income. Join us to learn why we focus on stocks that grow their dividends consistently. Owning A Moat Can Improve Your SSG (Craig Braemer) What is a moat? We will discuss the answer and show how a strong moat (not one around a castle) can help indicate a strong Stock Selection Guide (SSG). This workshop focuses on looking for quality companies, the forces that help maintain and improve Section 2 of the SSG, and how a moat can improve investing performance through owning great stocks for the long term. Stock to Study (Kweli Lewis & Jim Willcox) In this session, we will demonstrate completing a Stock Selection Guide (SSG) and will highlight the various judgment sections of the SSG. This is an interactive workshop packed with lots of practical discussion about filling out an SSG. New and experienced investors can benefit from this step-by-step stock study using the Stock Selection Guide.
