Description
West Mountain Strategic is proud to host the 1-Day USCCA Basic Pistol Course in the Kingston, NY area at a facility to be announced. This course will be held in a modern, indoor facility with a low student count to facilitate better learning. The course is 8 hours in length, and includes classroom lecture, practical skills, live fire, and a written examination. This course is appropriate for all levels of firearms owners and serves as both a great introductory course for new shooters, as well as a superior knowledge and skills refresher for long-time permit holders. Students will learn firearms safety, marksmanship, personal safety, and situational awareness in the classroom. On the range, we will work on firearm handling skills with dry practice, culminating in a live-fire exercise of approximately 50-100 rounds.
