Each winter for the past 15 years, the athletes of the Special Olympics Utah Panthers and Huskies gather for Winter Bowling League play at Delton Lanes in West Valley City, Utah. This activity provides the athletes an opportunity to continue with sports activity and social interaction when Special Olympics Utah is in its offseason and competitions are not being held. This annual Bowling Tournament provides the funds and support for the athletes who would not be able to participate without outside financial assistance. This is NOT a Special Olympics Utah event, however, it does support the amazing athletes who make up the Panthers and Huskies delegations and allows them the ability to continue to work on their sports skills. Proceeds will support the Panthers/Huskies athletes' Winter League Play, including appropriate bowling jerseys, fees associated with league play, and end-of-season prizes.
