ABOUT US: TPS Aviation is an aircraft parts distributor with a worldwide customer base. Many of our employees have worked here their entire careers, and we’re looking for people who are hoping to do the same. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Looking for stable position. Warehouse and logistics experience preferred, but training will be provided on the job. Dependable to be on time every day. Able to work independently and focus on tasks. Must have valid CA Driver License. Computer savvy. Able to take direction from managers of both genders. This position will work independently running the warehouse with assistance from management. Shift: 40 hrs/week. Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Set schedule. No OT, weekends, nights, holidays. Duties will include: - Receives all incoming packages, boxes, crates, pallets, etc. - Affixes shipping labels, identifying information, and shipping instructions on packed cartons and stencils identifying shipping info onto crates or cartons. - Assembles wooden and cardboard containers. Prepare containers for shipments. - Able to take weight and measurements of cargo. - Operate fork lift or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. - Bracing and blocking cargo to withstand movement in a shipping container - Make deliveries or pick ups via company vehicle as necessary. - Assist with tasks in the office, such as data entry, filing, and other tasks as assigned by supervisors. - Maintaining a clean, orderly work area, and performing basic maintenance on the warehouse as needed. - Completing all tasks assigned by supervisors. Job Qualifications: - Must have valid CA Drivers License. DO NOT apply if you do not have a valid driver license. We will train on Forklift. - Team player, as well as able to work independently - Able to focus on task at hand without being easily distracted - Able to safely lift 50 pounds repeatedly without issue - Previous warehouse and office experience is a big plus.
