Established 45 year old South Bay landscape contractor looking for landscape maintenance workers with valid California drivers license and for laborers (no Drivers License as well). We will pay top pay for top workers! Job description: -Ability to lift 50 lbs. and do physical work on a daily basis - Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, blowers, gas powered hedge shears, trimming shrubs, weed eaters, etc. -Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers. -Care for established lawns by weeding, trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, walls. -Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, etc.. -Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or gas powered trimmers. -Gather and remove debris. -Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides (round up), onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using back pack sprayers, spreaders. -Maintain irrigation systems, including winterizing the systems and starting them up in spring. -Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans. -Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds. -Rake, mulch, and compost leaves. -Plant, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools. -Landscaping experience preferred Please expect to work overtime during the busy season! We provided maintenance service to both residential and commercial properties in the Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. We also specialize in yard installations, irrigation system repairs and installation, demolition services, tree and shrub pruning, irrigation repairs in seasonal clean-ups. In terms of experience, we require a minimum of 1 year in the landscaping industry. If you have other related experience, please share that with us.
