The Buffalo Women of Environmental Learning and Leadership (BWELL) is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to encourage women to explore the natural environment, promote sustainability, and develop leadership skills through environmental stewardship and community engagement. BWELL takes pride in partnering with local organizations to teach participants about nature and the outdoors. We work with our partners to host community clean-up events, plantings in the park, environmental education seminars, and to facilitate fun, engaging outdoor recreation opportunities such as kayaking and hiking. We recognize the inequities of access to environmental education. All are welcome to join us! Together, we will bring new voices, ideas, and perspectives, to build a sustainable and equitable future.
