ABOUT THE ARMORY INDOOR TRACK & FIELD CAMPOVERVIEW The 2022 Armory Indoor Track and Field Camp is now available! We are back for our annual Fall camp to help high school track & field athletes fine tune their skills for the outdoor season. This camp will feature some of the best coaching minds in the sport and some of the finest American athletes in track & field. The event will take place at the historic Armory in New York City, located at 216 Fort Washington Ave. in Washington Heights -- home to one of the finest indoor track & field facilities in the world. The structure of the event will feature a morning and afternoon session. This will allow all student-athletes the opportunity to register for more than one event or attend for just a half day. PRICING:Early Bird Registration Pricing (8/15 - 9/11/2022): $85 per session (morning and/or afternoon): includes one session of instruction and a camp shirt. Regular Registration Pricing (9/12 - 10/31/2022): $110 per session (morning and/or afternoon): includes one session of instruction and a camp shirt. Late Registration Pricing (11/1 - 11/13/2022): $135 per session (morning and/or afternoon): includes one session of instruction and a camp shirt. Coaches Pass Pricing (8/15 - 11/13/2022): $60 includes a full day of instruction, and a camp shirt. *In order to be a part of both sessions (morning and afternoon) or to be involved in more than one event group, each student-athlete must register for both sessions. Armory Indoor Track and Field Camp Schedule: Morning Session: 7:00-8:00am: Check-in and day of registration 8:00-8:20am: Welcome and staff, athlete and coaches introductions 8:20-8:30am: Split into groups and warm-up 8:30-11:30am: Discipline specific group work 11:30-11:40am: Recap of session 11:40am-12:15pm: Q&A with pro athletes and coaches Afternoon Session: 12:30-1:30pm: Check-in and day of registration 1:30-1:50pm: Welcome and staff, athlete and coaches introductions 1:50-2:00pm: Split into groups and warm-up 2:00-5:00pm: Discipline specific group work 5:00-5:10pm: Recap of session 5:10-5:45pm: Q&A with pro athletes and coaches FAQsAre there minimum age requirements to enter the event? Yes, this camp is reserved for athletes in grades 8-12. Will the camp be active practice sessions or just lecture? The camp will be a mix of both. All attendees will learn about the events from the staff members, but will also go through a series of drills and practice sessions during the camp. Can I participate in more than one event group? Yes! An athlete can register for one event group or specific discipline in the morning and another event group in the afternoon. What should I bring? Athletic wear, running shoes, spikes (however, no spikes will be allowed in the shoes), a refillable water bottle. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? The Armory is located on Fort Washington Ave. between 168th & 169th Streets, one block west of Broadway. It is accessible off the West Side Highway or the FDR. The Armory is also in close proximity to public transportation. Below is a listing of the different ways to access the Armory. Subway: The facility is one block west of the 168th Street stop off the IRT #1, A & C trains. Bus: The M4 stops directly in front of our building on Fort Washington Avenue. M100, Bx7, M5 and M3 have stops one block west of the Armory on Broadway & 168th Street How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
