Welcome to DFW Young & Social, a growing community for people ages 25-40 who want to try out new activities while building connections! Are you ready for some Texas-style dance fun? Let's try Two-Step at the iconic Dallas standby, Cowboy's Red River! The venue offers a 30-minute intro Two-Step lesson, but if you haven't danced Two-Step before, or you just want to meet people beforehand and learn more moves...come get a head start with our Two-Step Mixer/Workshop in Carrollton on October 2nd! More about the Workshop. Important Info:Doors open precisely at 7:00pm. Lessons typically start at 7:15pm If you arrive after 8:00pm, there is a cover charge— $8, I believe. Details:I will arrive at around 7:00pm. Let's gather on the right side of the dance floor when you walk in, and we can introduce ourselves before the lesson! The lesson itself will rotate, so it will be a great way to meet both people in the group and other dancers! The venue is really fun, but chaotic! If you are sensitive to volume, you may wish to bring earplugs. They sell both alcohol and bottled water at the bar. There's plenty to see and hear, so if you want a break from dancing or just want to people watch and hang out with your new friends, you can do that too! Other highlights: Live music, a disco saddle, and a mechanical bull. So really, what more could you want? I can't wait to dance with you all!
