Description

This program is a 3 hour class designed for adults. It gives you the knowledge to give emergency first aid to a dog or cat until it can be transported to a professional Veterinarian for care. During this class you will learn to recognize an emergency and how to apply emergency first aid. CPR and Rescue Breathing will be taught with plenty of time for practice on pet mannequins. You will learn how to recognize the symptoms of sudden illness and how to properly respond to these potentially life threatening conditions. Finally, you will learn how to create a pet first aid kit and an emergency preparedness kit. Class DOES NOT take the place of professional veterinary care. No pets in class.
