Join us for Halfway to Earth Day 2022! It's an opportunity to gather as a community to celebrate and discuss the progress we've made to make a greener Omaha. It also marks the halfway point till Earth Day in April! This year's event will include live music, exhibitors, and speakers from some of our community partners. The topic of discussion will be the new Inflation Reduction Act, the landmark bill passed by the Biden Administration allocating $369 billion to fight climate change. These presenters will share how members of the Omaha community can use the policy's programs and how they might affect our community moving forward. Additionally, there will be an opportunity for attendees to turn in suggestions and ideas for what they want to see from our Earth Day Omaha 2022 events. More details about the speakers will be announced once details are confirmed and we also plan to have a local food truck available to purchase food from.
