Middle-Earth Ensemble gas performed for belly dance and other festive occasions in the San Diego area and beyond since 2002. The musicians derive their influences from many different styles, including Arabic, Persian, Turkish, folk, jazz, classical, rock and improvisational music. The music of Middle-Earth Ensemble represents a unique fusion and blending to create their original sound. They will be joined on this occasion by special guest star dancer Sonia Ochoa from Los Angeles, former member of the world touring troupe Bellydance Superstars. Local talent will include the amazing San Diego dancers; Lucia, Gloria, Ami, Raine, Jenna and Zina. Included in the ticket price is a sumptuous 2 course Persian meal, from the delicious Sufi Mediterranean Restaurant.
