Chef Brandon Edwin Chrostowski is joining forces with the Poinsett Club and Jasmine Road to host a special five-course dinner at 6pm Tuesday, Oct. 25 with proceeds benefitting Jasmine Road. The event will be held at the Poinsett Club in the Poinsett Room located in downtown Greenville at 807 E Washington Street, Greenville, SC 29601. Dinner will begin at 6pm with a reception and hors d'oeuvres followed by dinner at 6:30 featuring a 5-course meal and wine pairings (see menu below). Business casual dress suggested. Chef Chrostowski and Poinsett Club Chef Nate Krelier have partnered together to develop the menu, bringing dinner guests a delicious tour of French cuisine and thoughtful wine pairings. Chef Chrostowski is making a trip to Greenville for this special dinner and will join Jasmine Road the following day on Wednesday, Oct. 26 for a keynote address during the 6th Annual Rooted in Love Luncheon focused on providing the opportunity to flourish through social enterprise. Chef Chrostowski founded EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute (ELRI) in Cleveland, Ohio, with the belief that “every human being, regardless of their past, has the right to a fair and equal future.” ELRI is a proven successful mix of award-winning French cuisine, and top-tier table service combined with a unique and revolutionary social cause. EDWINS is the only white tablecloth restaurant in the country whose staff consists entirely of formerly incarcerated men and women in both the kitchen and the front of house. Proceeds will benefit Jasmine Road. Jasmine Road is Greenville, SC's first two-year residential program that offers women who are trapped in a cycle of sexual exploitation and addiction a path to freedom, a haven for healing, and the opportunity to flourish, leading to generational change and the betterment of our Greenville community. *Cocktail attire is suggested and gentleman are required to wear a jacket to the Poinsett Club.
