Pens & Pages: Write Local, Read Local—A Reading with Regional Authors from the Converse University Low Residency MFA in Creative Writing. October 21, 5:00-6:15 pm, at Truphae, 550 South Main Street, Suite 200, Greenville, SC 29601. Free and open to the public. The event, co-hosted by Truphae and the Converse Low Residency MFA in Creative Writing, will feature award-winning poets, essayists, and novelists, Susan Tekulve, Claire Bateman, Laura Platas Scott, Emma Stephens, and Sonja Condit Coppenbarger. After the reading, be sure to talk with the authors about writing and reading, pick up a book and have it signed, and check out the great selection of pens, ink, and paper offered by Truphae.
