Students who enroll in this course will be receiving both ACLS & PALS renewal certification at the end of successful completion. The course is recommended for students who have previously taken both courses, but must not be expired. (All AHA cards expire the last day of the month that they were issued.) Students may not attend for just one certification, this is a combo class. 0830-1600 Students pay $140 down/$140at class. (The same price for each course if taken separately) FORMAT: Because both certification have sections that are duplicate, the course will feature all components needed once. Example: Students will complete in class lectures/chapters on BLS, High performance Teams, Death & Dying, Systematic Approach (order of assessment.) The morning will begin with above, followed by the ACLS individual components. After a brief lunch break, the PALS components will be presented. Students will take tests for both ACLS & PALS in class and be tested out on all required megacodes in class. BLS RENEWAL: Students may add on BLS renewal simply by email instructor at [email protected] prior to class. They will pay a $45 additional card fee at class and take an additional 25 questions BLS test if they choose this add on instead of coming to a separate BLS course. PAYMENT: Registration via this system only is REQUIRED for enrollment. I cannot take payment elsewhere-I have dozens of classes on the books and this system ensures that I do not go over my 6:1 student instructor ratio and do not oversell seats. The checkout agent is PayPal but you DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to check out. Simply check out as a guest, follow prompts and use whatever debit/credit you desire. Final payment is done in class and can be processes with check, cash, Venmo or PayPal. Use of the square reader for debit/credit card payments is a $5 charge, as Square charges that to me. Book, pretest, directions and parking information are sent via email after registration. PLEASE ensure you are available for the date you book as class payments down are NON REFUNDABLE due to no one else being able to enroll in that seat. Courtesy credits only MAY be given with 72 hours advance notice or on a case by case basis IF the class is not sold out. Sold out classes or no shows receive no credit.
